What Vita does — and what it does not do
Vita does
- Estimate weight and body composition (fat, muscle, water, visceral fat) via bio-impedance.
- Auto-sync weigh-ins over Wi-Fi to the Chutex app (up to 8 profiles).
- Drive weight goals, calories and macros with Nora AI and 6/12/24-month trends.
- Combine with the Elio band in the same app to cross body composition and wrist signals.
- Allow controlled sharing with family, coach or professional (PDF export).
- Host data on Free Pro / XPR HDS-certified infrastructure (GDPR) — CHUTEX as data controller.
Vita does not
- Provide a medical diagnosis.
- Guarantee clinical-grade accuracy like DEXA.
- Measure blood glucose like a glucometer (indicative estimation with Elio only).
- Replace a dietitian, physician or medical advice.
- Work for pacemaker or implanted stimulator wearers (BIA contraindication).
- Promise guaranteed weight loss.

How to get comparable measurements
- Weigh in the morning, fasted, after bathroom, dry feet.
- Same time daily when possible.
- Avoid immediately after exercise or a large meal.
- Flat, hard, stable surface.
- 12 measurement families, 50+ data points and trends per weigh-in.

The Vita bio-impedance scale is sold across Europe. Nora AI coach and the Chutex app are included. Some health services are France-only.
24/7 physician teleconsultation and HDS hosting apply to eligible accounts in France only. Outside France, use local care pathways and emergency numbers (911 / 999 / 112). Vita is a wellness scale — not a medical diagnostic device.
