The helium gas cartridge is the essential refill for the proper functioning of the Elder and Belto airbag systems. Designed to be automatically triggered in the event of a fall detected by the device, it ensures instant inflation of the airbag for optimal protection.
Directions for use
Pre-use check
Check the external condition of the cartridge: make sure that it is not damaged or deformed, and that the thread is clean.
Installation and deployment
Screw the cartridge onto the pressure regulator or the appropriate nozzle until it stops, by hand, without forcing. Open the valve slowly to avoid pressure surges.
Safe use
• Never point the nozzle at a person or animal.
• Do not inhale the gas directly — pure helium can be dangerous to your health in high concentrations.
• Use in an open space, away from any flame or heat source.
Recycling and the environment
- Storage and maintenance
Store the cartridge in a dry, temperate place (between 5°C and 25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Protect it from shocks and extreme temperature fluctuations. - Replacement
After each use, check the residual pressure. If the cartridge is no longer completely empty or has been opened, replace it with a new one to ensure optimal performance. - Recycling
Once empty and at atmospheric pressure, place your cartridge in the metal waste stream (recycling bin or waste disposal center), remembering to remove any plastic labels.
