Privacy policy

SAS CHUTEX processes your personal data as data controller in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the data protection law applicable in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what we collect, why, for how long and your rights.

Data we collect

  • Account and order data: identity, postal and email address, order history, invoices. Payment data is processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
  • Application data (if you use the Chutex app): device pairing, measurements from Elio and Vita (heart rate, sleep, body composition), posture data from Dorsi, activity from Model I. These are health-related data processed on the basis of your explicit consent.
  • Technical data: logs, IP address, browser type, cookies (see the cookie policy).

Purposes and legal bases

  • Performance of your order and after-sales service (contract).
  • Operation of the Chutex application and the Nora assistant (contract and explicit consent for health data).
  • Legal obligations: invoicing, accounting, product safety.
  • Service emails and newsletters (consent, withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link).
  • Audience measurement and site improvement (consent where required).

Retention

Order and invoicing data: 10 years (accounting obligations). Account data: for the life of the account, then 3 years. Health-related application data: for the life of the account, deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Cookies: 13 months maximum.

Recipients and transfers

Data is hosted in the European Union (France). Processors: hosting (Free Pro / XPR, HDS certified), payment provider, carriers for delivery, emailing provider. No transfer outside the EU without appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). For customers in the United Kingdom, data is transferred from the United Kingdom to the EU under the applicable adequacy or contractual mechanisms.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, erase and port your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to contact@chutex-innovation.com. You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
