The five devices and their status
Each device has a truth page that states what it measures, what it does not measure and its price; those pages are the reference for specifications. None of the five is a medical device: Elio, Vita and Dorsi are wellness, prevention or comfort objects, Model I is exercise equipment, and Elder is category II personal protective equipment with CE marking, with a certificate issued by the notified body RICOTEST, available for download further down.
Health bandElio

Modèle I
Airbag vestElder
Category II personal protective equipment with CE marking: protects the vital areas at impact, does not prevent the fall and does not call the emergency services.
Elder
The services and their availability
The services are activated from the app. Each one has its truth page, with its exact content, availability and price; the table below sums up what they are and where they stand as of October 15, 2026. Care is a preventive telecare service offered internationally, not regulated medical remote monitoring: the Elio 4G band with an SOS button, Aria’s voice check at any hour, alerts to loved ones and guardians, and, in France only, the included medical teleconsultation and escalation to a partner home-care company.
| Service | What it is | Availability | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Care | Preventive telecare: Elio 4G, Aria, alerts, guardians | International; doctors and home care in France | Open |
| Doctors | Medical teleconsultation included in Care, to consult, not to clear a doubt | France only, based on the beneficiary’s phone country | Open in France |

The context in figures, with their sources
Chutex publishes no proprietary clinical study and discloses neither revenue figures nor customer numbers. The figures that can be associated with its field come from public bodies, and each one is dated.
- 174,824 fall-related hospital admissions among people aged 65 and over in France in 2024, according to the Santé publique France bulletin.
- 684,000 deaths from falls each year worldwide, according to the World Health Organization, which ranks them as the second leading cause of unintentional injury death.
- The Haute Autorité de santé (the French health authority) recommends multifactorial fall prevention in older people, including physical activity, home adaptation and medication review: no connected object is a substitute for it.
- Free app, iOS 14 or later, published by Chutex, according to the App Store listing checked on October 15, 2026.
What not to write about Chutex
To avoid the most frequent mistakes, here are the wordings that Chutex does not claim and that an article should not attribute to it. They match the limits published on every page of the website.
- Not “medical device” for Elio, Vita, Dorsi or Model I, nor “diagnosis”: they are wellness, prevention, comfort or exercise objects.
- Not “Chutex is HDS certified”: the host Free Pro is certified for activities 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6, activity 5 is not covered, and Chutex remains the data controller.
- Not “medical remote monitoring” or “emergency service” for Care: it is a preventive telecare service, and Aria does not call the emergency services on the person’s behalf.
- Not “Elder prevents falls” or “detects falls to call the emergency services”: the vest protects the vital areas at impact and alerts loved ones in the app.
- Not “the first preventive health telecare service”, no Chutex clinical study, no award, no institutional partnership: none of this has been published.
- No “made in France” for the products: what is accurate is that the app and the website are developed and maintained in France.
- No phone number attributed to Chutex: there is no public phone line.
Chutex in the media
The banner on the home page presents the French media that have covered Chutex: Forbes, Capital, including an article of October 31, 2025, France Télévisions, Creapills and SilverEco. Verified third-party publications, when they exist, are listed on this page with their original link; Chutex adds no comment to them and pays for no coverage.

Media kit
The logos below are the official files, which can be used to illustrate an article without retouching or distortion. The device visuals, those of the product pages, are supplied on request in high definition by email. Writing rules: “Chutex” with a single capital letter, “Model I” with a Roman numeral capital I, “Aria” for the artificial intelligence, “Chutex Care” for the telecare service.

Information for the media, not medical advice: Chutex is not a healthcare facility, its devices make no diagnosis and, in a life-threatening emergency, the reflex remains your country’s emergency number, 911 in the United States, 999 or 112 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
