• Be reused after replacing helium cartridges (about 30 seconds).

Elder does not

• Does not prevent every fall or guarantee zero fracture risk.
• Replace medical advice, physiotherapy or home adaptations.
• Does not prevent or treat seizures, or replace a prescribed seizure helmet.
• Act as emergency life support (call emergency services for life-threatening events).
• Replace 24/7 human telecare (Chutex Care is a separate France-only service).

Epilepsy patients are among the most exposed to sudden, unpredictable falls.

During a tonic-clonic seizure, there may be no reaction time. When a fall pattern is detected and the vest is properly worn - Elder is designed to inflate before impact. It does not prevent seizures, does not detect every event and does not replace prescribed helmets, neurological care or emergency response.

Caregivers receive notification through the Chutex app. This does not replace medical supervision or emergency services (911).

How the Elder airbag vest works

Integrated sensors analyse motion in real time. When a fall is confirmed, helium cartridges inflate the airbag around torso and hips.
